About Catchshall Tree Service and How Referrals Work

Who We Are

Catchshall Tree Service is a referral service for tree work. We help homeowners understand a job first. Then we connect them with independent providers in our network. Think of us as a signpost, not a destination. We point the way. We do not walk the road for you.

Why We Exist

Tree jobs can feel confusing. Is the tree dangerous? Can you trim a branch yourself? Does a stump need grinding? Many people do not know where to start. We wrote plain guides so you can decide with a calm head.

We also cover the seasons. Snowy winters, freeze-thaw cycles, spring melt and coastal storms all change how trees behave. Plan the season, and the work often goes smoother.

How Providers Are Matched

You tell us about your tree and your address. We pass that to a provider in our network who serves your area. The provider then talks with you about the job. Availability varies, so Request a callback to check provider availability.

What We Expect From Providers

We ask providers to be clear and polite. We also ask them to explain the job before they start. A good provider should:

  • Describe the plan in plain words
  • Give a written quote
  • Explain how they will protect your house, fence and yard
  • Answer your questions without pressure

Providers are independent. They run their own business, carry their own gear and set their own prices.

What We Do Not Do

We do not cut, climb, lift or grind. We do not send crews of our own. We do not set prices, and we do not promise what a provider will charge. We also do not decide whether your insurance applies. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

DIY or Pro?

Some jobs are fine for a careful homeowner. Raking, light pruning from the ground and clearing small, loose twigs are examples. Ground before limb. If you need a ladder, a chainsaw overhead or a rope, the job has moved past the safe line. Large trunks, trees near power lines and anything leaning on a roof need a pro with proper gear.

How We Are Paid

We may receive a referral fee from providers when a homeowner contacts them through this site. You do not pay us to use the service. The price of the work is set between you and the provider, so always get it in writing.
